This feed utilizes the weather radar content from the Clickablity CMS that powers all the Belo station websites and converts it into a format that can be parsed into a DoApp slideshow gallery. This enables radars to be displayed on smartphone and tablet applications by mirroring the content of the website.
2012 Website: WeatherCaster
Belo has published this weather-oriented iPad app. The website is meant as a promotional tool and central hub for the app download, social sites, news blog, as well as showing off the capabilities of the app.
2012 Mobile Web App: Mobile App Directory and App Dashboard

The Directory automatically displays relevant apps based on the device you're viewing it on, including: smartphone, tablet or PC. App data is stored, fetched and parsed via JSON feeds. The App Dashboard is the backend system for the App Directory and gives users direct control for adding, modifying, reordering, or even deleting apps displayed on the Directory.
2012 Mobile Web App: WCNC Traffic Web App
The WCNC Traffic app utilizes API data provided by Traffic.com to display a list of incidents (accidents, construction, and events). It then filters each incident into into a list of tabbed data. Clicking a list item displays the details as well as the location via the Google Maps API.

2011 Mobile Web App: Ustream Mobile
This page utilizes UStream video content to live stream on mobile devices (smartphones and tablets). It uses HTML5 for structure, semantics, and the video output on iOS devices. Javascript is used to determine the device you’re viewing on and display the appropriate video player and the page adjusts to fit the screen size using CSS media queries.

This in-house tool for Belo provides a variety of options for generating ad tags based on the Tippr API feed. This powers the daily Yollar deals on Belo station websites.

Website built for Times Record News. Utilizes a custom built Wordpress-based CMS, HTML5 page structure and CSS3 for design with progressive enhancement fallbacks.
